From beautiful mountain lakes to the streams flowing in the bottoms of some of America’s deepest canyons, trout in all their forms lure anglers to Idaho waters. Warm water species like Bass, Crappie, and Bluegill are also abundant throughout Idaho and are fast becoming a favourite sportfishing pursuit. The primary location for both species of bass are along the Snake River drainage ranging from South Central Idaho through South Western Idaho into the North Central region making this area a prime thoroughfare for these feisty fish. Crappie, Bluegill, perch and other spiny rays can be found almost anywhere there is a small impoundment of water throughout Idaho.

Jerome County Fair
The Jerome County Fair and Rodeo offers a bit of fun and local flavor for every age group. Attractions at the fair include the Jerome Bull fighting series, amusement rides, carnival booths, petting zoo, chainsaw carvings, vendors, free stage shows, 4-H and open events, carnival, junior rodeo, demolition derby and an antique tractor pull! Held in late July, spend a warm summer afternoon and take a stroll along the midway, take in the sights and sounds of local culture and community.
